I just came across your website... this is exactly what I am looking for. Someone who is a normal trader (day trader that is...) and can relate to the common "Joe".
Question for you sir: I made a rookie mistake and bought in the hype of a china stock LFT. I am in at 33.50 for 1000 shares and I am scared to death now... i went overboard and now I could be looking at a lot of pain. You have any knowledge of stock LFT ? Thank you in advance... I hope to be a regular reader of yours.
This is why I emphasis on stop loss for any stock. I cannot do any technicals on it because it is a new stock. However, all I can advise you is to find the trend and do your own homework and reconsider if this is going to be a long term company or not. If you cannot find the trend just yet I would advise you to short the same number of shares. Until you are able to find it. For ex. If it continues to go down you will have your short position and when the trend flips cover and go more long then get rid of it asap if you don't feel comfortable. Even if you didn't reach the buy in price but averaging it in will make it a lot more easy. This is one of the reason why I don't like holding stocks for more than a day, it's unpredictable. The 50+ percent gain for October isn't paper gain its actual gain and won't lose it.

I was very depressed when I lost over 5grand, luckily I stumbled upon your site. I was very unsure about aapl and it's earning but when I read that you were also in it, I took the chance and boy was I glad I did. Also AMZN and I am up 8 grand including the loss of my 5 grand!! My wife and I are very grateful please keep this site up for a long time.
