Still holding

I am still currently holding C, BIDU, and AAPL. AAPL has now been up more than 10+ percent for me and BIDU around 15% and C is a little over 4% as of now. Most of my money are tied down from these 3 stocks and I am going to try to milk these stock as much as possible. Might add a little more on C.

Not day trading from this market. The market is ridiculously manipulated with absurd news that seems to continue with different aspect and perspective. We get the point that things for housing and credit card is not a good thing. But why does "news" such as CNBC keep repeating the same stuff but in a different way. This causes more panic/ fear of selling. But as Warren Buffet quote
"we gain greed from others fear" This gives us the opportunity to buy top notch stocks at a ridiculously low price.
Currently holding C @ 31.50. AAPL @ 172.40. Bidu @ 324.
Market is still uncertain for day trade. However, I might keep these stocks in a long term portfolio for now since Day trading isn't good until probably Dec.

Down with C but now I have moved it from my short term position to long term position so I didn't take the hit, only paper lose for now. I am still in AAPL, could've made easy 2 % but I rather stick to it for a little longer, probably till Christmas.

I could not believe how the market repeat the same old news about credit issues. They talk about this problem in so many different perspective that causes more fear. However, I am just holding onto these stock and the other one I think about getting back in is BIDU.

Look for possible rally around the afternoon

The market had a huge drop in the morning so this gives us 2 possibilities to trade today. This trade should occur in the afternoon where the market will either rally up or drop down further. I predict it usually tell us everything around 1-2PM. However, as long as there is a rally expect high volatile stocks to go up with the market such as C, BIDU, AAPL, etc. If it doesn't rally there is a choice to short them, but I would never do it at this point because they are already oversold due to market news and concerns.

I shouldn't be trading, but it is such a nice setup and a good way to make profit so I am going to wait and buy those 3 stocks when the market rallies. If it doesn't, I will wait for another day or so where I hope the market stabilizes.

One good indicator for rally is when Dow shifts from -160 points to -100. This will give us a nice indicator and we should have these stocks on our watchlist. And if there is a rally I would buy it and put a nice tight stop loss for a good risk/reward ratio.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy thanksgiving

Happy with my results for this month of November. Yea I am taking an early thanksgiving break but it is all worth it. Won't be trading during the break, feel like it is a good time to spend some of the money that has been raked in the month of Nov. Very early break. Will be trading again probably next week, however I will keep updating about stocks that is worthy in my portfolio. There are 3 stocks I am keeping an eye out for BIDU, AAPL, and my favorite C.

Fade the Gap resulted (posted on fade the gap result)

Will update the graph and column bar some other time. Didn't do as well as last month, ending November early.

Recap of 11/20/07

Just covered on AMD @ 11.56 for a near 9% gain in two days. Was going to cover yesterday but I took and didn't cover. However, I had a tight stop loss so I won't lose much of my gains if it didn't work out well. It didn't hit my cover trigger so now I am standing at a 9% gain on AMD, will update my portfolio performance later tonight on all the gains/loses for November.

One of the Stock I am really interested is AAPL. It is holding in the 160's pretty well. Seems like it is bottoming there and with christmas coming next month, expect sells to boom. I am going to enter this stock soon.

What is happening

The panic/fear of investors from more write down, weakening of the U.S dollars and etc brings us more money when we short stocks that are involved with this type of dilemma. Such as C, MER and financial companies are the victims of these news. This might actually lead to a sell off on Friday. If there is negative news that leads to more fear and panic about the market, I am shorting Mer, AAPL, BIDU, etc. Probably going to Intraday trade this or hold it for a day or two.

Reason I haven't posted any play lately is because we all know that the market is unsteady right now and if people are using charts and technicals at this time, they must be careful.

Quick gains

The pullback from panic sell has helped me gained a little over 20% in 2 days!!!. Bidu up for me at 9%, AAPL, 7% and C has helped me with 6%. Total of 22% gained. They are nice long term growth stocks however, I feel that swing trading and daytrading will make the most out of these stocks. Hoping for more falling prices in these stocks and hope to renter again for swing trades :). With the market being so uncertain it would be more wise to just observe which direction it would head into.

There is no system in the world that can be called the "Holy Grail" If there was one I am sure everyone would have known this and everyone would be making money. However, with indicators it shows a pattern that we can learn from it and predict what might happen in the upcoming days and with a good stop loss in place it makes it more better for risk/reward ratio in the market.

Making thousands of dollars a day would be very nice. Even making one or two hundred dollar per trade consistently can make a good sum of money.

Hot Picks of the week

The growing stocks that had been fairly oversold due to fear in the market are C, Bidu and AAPL. These are my 3 best stocks choice that I longed to get it cheap and it is the right time to get them. I will see how these picks will do in the coming week. Got into aapl at 162, Bidu 314 and also in C 35

Best Pick of the year?!

At the current market condition, I am pretty glad in a way that the market dropped because it gave me an opportunity to bottom fish some of the stocks thats I always wanted, but find the price a little too expensive to get in.
The market might be on a pullback from all the heavy selling. However, one of the best long term stock would be C, Citigroup. This stock has fallen from the 60's to the 30's in a week. One could say there was a great pullback.
I am not going to put a chart up for technical analysis because this is one of the stock I am going to hold on to for a while. Have 1000 shares into this for long term.
Love the dividends and risk/reward ratio. Would pop back to the low 40's or high 30's very soon. Short term traders can also benefit from this.

Would start to daytrade within this upcoming week

Market trend?

The way I see how the market is going is no longer based on technicals. The market is now running on it's course based on news and fear of what is happening to our economy. However, to be on the safe side I will trade less in this upcoming week and just observe when the market will stabilize itself. I never rush into a trade unless I know what I am doing.

However, as far as I am concerned my recap on gains for November is running shy of 30%. The reason why most of my trades are successful because I limit my loss with stop loss of the losing trade and let the winners run. I am hoping to get into a trade in this upcoming week.

Tips: Any more negative news will bring in more panic selling for most stocks. In most cases when market that has been run down more than 100+ points and doesn't recover around 2 PM it usually leads to more selling at the close. However, most of the selling has been done last week and I expect it should be bottoming and reverse.

Market Rally?

I am not going to post picks for friday because I have been really busy the past days and will be tomorrow. I found out the reason why AAUK shot up. It was a gold stock. One of the foolish trade I could have made when gold are going up. Tomorrow the market should be back on the green because there was a rally at the end of the close and I expect it to continue it's run if no more negative news are going to hinder it. I am not trading tomorrow and just observe what is going on with the market. Meaning the rally can be a fluke or more negative news will be flowing out.

Tips: For daytraders never ever feel like you have to trade stocks everyday or it is a must. If you think like you are just risking yourself to lose tons of money. Sometimes we have to sit back and relax and enjoy your day out of the market.

For those who took advantage of the weak market and shorted shares like BIDU, AMZN, GOOG, AAPL that I recommended it would have been a great day for you. I will be posting stocks and more plays during the weekend.

CSIQ sold at 14.03
Stopped out AAUK with 3% loss.

recaps of 11/8/07

CSIQ stopped out even, Covered. (lost only in commission/fees) Stop loss was triggered at the same entry price. Should have taken profit when I had the chance as it dipped in the morning.

AAUK is risky, but its the thing I like so I am having it run at 3 percent stop loss. It is a good risk/reward ratio.

However, shorting a stock that gained momentum of 5+ percent in premarket isn't usually the best idea. I still haven't found out what is the catalyst that drove these prices so high. Earnings or news leak? If there was news leak/ earnings (never go against it)

Note: currently long in CSIQ at 12.74 Volume is huge outbreak

My new goal

My new goal is to find out how long will it takes for the 100,000 we are starting off to reach a million. This is the race to the riches :). I know for a fact that some of the months we might have some negative results compared to October but I will always limit that possibilities. This new goal would come out to be 1000% net gain. 1 MILL and we are off.
